గుజరాత్‌లోని గిఫ్ట్‌ సిటీలో సైప్రస్‌ స్టాక్‌ఎక్స్చేంజ్‌ ఏర్పాటు అవుతోంది. ఈ మేరకు మన నేషనల్‌ స్టాక్‌ ఎక్స్చేంజ్‌కు, టర్కీ ఎక్స్చేంజ్‌కు మధ్య ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది. సైప్రస్‌లో పర్యటించిన ప్రధాని మోదీ, ఈ ఒప్పందంపై హర్షం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. సైప్రస్‌లో జరిగిన బిజినెస్ రౌండ్‌టేబుల్‌ సమావేశంలో ఈ అంశం గురించి ప్రధాని మోదీ ప్రత్యేకంగా ప్రస్తావించారు. గిఫ్ట్‌ సిటీ ఒక అంతర్జాతీయ ఆర్థిక కేంద్రంగా ఎదుగుతోందని ప్రధాని మోదీ అన్నారు.
రెండు దేశాల ఆర్థిక సంబంధాలు బలోపేతం కావాలని ఆయన ఆకాంక్షించినట్లు కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం తెలిపింది. భారత్‌-సైప్రస్‌ మధ్య ఆర్థిక రంగంతోపాటు, పలు రంగాల్లో పరస్పర సహకారం పెంపొందాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని ప్రధాని మోదీ ఆకాంక్షించారు. భారత్‌-సైప్రస్‌-గ్రీస్‌ కలిసి వ్యాపార, పెట్టుబడుల కౌన్సిల్‌ ఏర్పాటు చేయడాన్ని ఆయన స్వాగతిస్తుంచారు. గిఫ్ట్‌ సిటీలో సైప్రస్‌ స్టాక్‌ఎక్స్చేంజ్‌ ఏర్పాటు కోసం ఒప్పందం చేసుకోవడానికి సహకరించిన ప్రధాని మోదీకి నేషనల్‌ స్టాక్‌ ఎక్స్చేంజ్‌ CEO ఆశిష్‌ చౌహాన్‌ ధన్యవాదాలు తెలిపారు.
